I’m Liz, a doula and educator based in Albany, NY. I began my career as a birth doula eight years ago, holding space for families as they welcomed new souls into the world. Birthwork became both my home and my calling.

I’ve always been drawn to the sacred thresholds of birth and death and the mysteries they hold. After the passing of my grandmother in 2023, I felt a profound calling to deathwork. I realized that holding space for death mirrors holding space for birth in many ways. Witnessing her last days and the care she received inspired me to complete my end-of-life doula training with INELDA in 2024. I also volunteer with hospice and am a level III Reiki practitioner.

I believe we are here to have experiences and pursue what brings us joy. I find deep fulfillment in supporting people through life’s most significant transitions, walking alongside them as they cross these sacred thresholds. Everyone deserves care, dignity, and respect during these moments — and it is my honor to provide that.
