I always do my best to practice with compassion, kindness, and gratitude.

Kisha Estelow, LMT, CST-T

Hi! I’m Kisha, and I’m so glad you’re here.

  1. A little bit about my professional career so far: I’ve been practicing as a licensed massage therapist since 2013 after graduating from SUNY Morrisville in 2012. I’m so grateful to have had the opportunity to attend college. During this journey, I’ve met some extremely talented health and wellness practitioners along the way, and have learned so much from them.

  2. What made me get into working as a death doula? The same reason I started in the Wellness field, because I was inspired to do so. When my oldest sister fell ill in 2009, she was gifted a massage session from a family friend. She asked if I would join her as she felt anxious going alone. So I tagged along. After the session ended, I helped my sister off of the table. She was the most relaxed and happy I’d seen her in months.
A few short months later I received a call that my sister was terminal. Although I was devastated by this news, I am so grateful to have had the honor of being there for her while she was dying. As difficult as it was to say goodbye, I was inspired by my sister to not only help clients feel good in their bodies Earth side, but to also hold space and be there with them when they leave.

  3. How long have I been practicing as an End of Life Doula? I completed my End-of-Life Doula training in 2024 with INELDA, and learned a lot from the teachers and students in the class. Although I am new to this field, I very much look forward to learning, and growing with you through this process, while also supporting those that you love.
